The Monday night football game features two of the best teams in the league although one of them has fallen on hard times. The New Orleans Saints will welcome the Baltimore Ravens to the Big Easy as part of what is now a Monday night football doubleheader.
The game between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills will be moved to Detroit and played on Monday night due to a big snow storm that has buried Buffalo.
The better teams are playing in the Ravens and Saints clash. The Saints are having a difficult season, and they need to win this game if they want to try and catch up with the Atlanta Falcons who are currently leading the very weak NFC South. The Saints have lost two games in a row at home, which is uncharacteristic for this Saints team. Saints haven’t lost three straight at home since 2005 and prior to dropping back-to-back home games the last two weeks, New Orleans had won 20 consecutive home games under coach Sean Payton and were a ludicrous 19-2-1 ATS over their last 22. Now they will try and avoid a three game home losing streak when they host a well-rested Ravens team that is off a bye week.
